There is an American band of brothers that makes public education and senior living their mission and goal. We are not a secret society. We are not the Illuminati. We are Freemasons. Our current campaign, called “I’m a Mason” seeks to pull the curtain away from some of the misconceptions perpetuated by the internet, rumors, movies and TV. Freemasonry is an ancient society, with some secrets. But we have been part of the American fabric since the country’s inception and part of the world for hundreds, and some say, over 2 thousand years, dating back to the ancient mystery schools of Egypt and Greece. We are a diverse group. And we seek to make ourselves better so that we can make the world around us better. Last night, the CDE held its annual California Teachers of the Year Gala in Sacramento, where State Superintendent @tonythurmond congratulated and expressed thanks to the five 2024 CA Teachers of the Year honorees. 🍎 ⭐ 🎉
