This year, the Masons of California are proud to introduce the Keystone Initiative, a new forward-looking vision for the fraternity meant to strengthen our organization, improve the member experience, and position the fraternity as an integral part of the community. As part of the Keystone Initiative, we’ll be rolling out several important new programs and campaigns to improve how lodges function and are run, to simplify the business of running a lodge, and how we engage in philanthropy.

The 2026 Leadership Retreats are your opportunity to learn exactly what’s in the Keystone Initiative—how it will affect your lodge, your officer’s role, and your members’ experience in Freemasonry. Get important updates and training on every officer’s role, with special tracks for executive, education, membership and charity, and finance and administration positions.

TILED SESSION: For the first time ever, the retreats will introduce a newly streamlined, more meaningful version of a stated meeting.  This 40-minute tiled session will feature an entire stated meeting, including masonic education.  In addition, we’ll demo a new technology to help make those meetings easier to plan and run.

Additionally at this year’s retreats, we’ll introduce important new programs, such as:

• Hall Maintenance and Hall Assessment Programs
• Newly developed Lodge Officer Job Descriptions
• plus all the fun fellowship you’ve come to expect at these once-a-year gatherings.
