Recognizing Peace Officers

On Tuesday, Sept. 25, King David’s Lodge No. 209 partnered with local community leaders to honor peace officers during an evening of celebration and thanks.

At the awards banquet in San Luis Obispo, the lodge presented each honoree with a framed certificate, and offered to make a $250 donation in honor of each peace officer to the charity of their choice.

California Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham and San Luis Obispo County District Supervisor John Peschong attended the banquet and also awarded each officer with certificates of appreciation.

King David’s Lodge is proud to recognize the following individuals who, through their zeal and endeavor, have been of significant and outstanding service to their communities:

  • Dispatcher Doug Schowalter, California Highway Patrol
  • Detective Caleb Kemp, San Luis Obispo Police Department
